v1.11.5 Latest Sep 2, 2026
  • Closing a board is quick again. Pressing X could sit for several seconds before the editor let go, with nothing on screen to explain the wait. Your work is still written down before you leave — only the upload to your account now finishes quietly in the background.
  • The project's picture updates even when you leave immediately. Making a change and closing straight away left the old picture on the project tile, so it looked as though the edit had not been saved.
v1.11.4 Sep 1, 2026
  • Your work no longer disappears after reopening a project. Elements were handed identity numbers that started over every time the app launched, so the first things you drew after reopening a project could take over the identity of something already on the board — and the older item was quietly destroyed the next time it saved. Nothing warned you; the board simply came back wrong.
  • Closing with the X saves what you just did. If the app had been in the background — you pulled down the notification shade, took a call, switched apps — and you came back, made a change and closed straight away, that last change could be dropped without a word.
  • Your edits stick when you use more than one device. Phones and computers rarely agree on the exact time, and an edit made on the device whose clock was behind could be discarded in favour of an older copy from the other one. This affected moving, rotating, mirroring, snapping and grouping, and the same problem is fixed for your saved footprints and folders.
  • Deleting something makes it stay deleted. In some sequences — particularly after an undo, or when a change had arrived from another device — a deleted item could come back on the next save.
  • Undo survives saving. Undoing a board resize, or undoing a deletion, could be silently reversed the next time the project saved, putting the change you had just taken back right back again.
  • An item can no longer appear twice on one board. Grouping something and then drawing it again — most easily done with a connection between two pads — could leave two copies, one inside the group and one loose. The extra copy was invisible to everything that would normally clean it up, so it persisted through every later save.
  • Your board keeps its size and shape. When a project's board could not be read for any reason, a blank default board could take its place and be written over the real one.
v1.11.3 Aug 30, 2026
  • Your board's picture updates after you edit it. Making a change and going back to the list left the old picture on the project tile, which made it look as though the edit had not been saved. It always had been — only the picture was stale. Local projects were affected worst: leaving the editor within a few seconds of an edit captured no new picture at all.
v1.11.2 Aug 29, 2026
  • Creating a project on a phone works again. Tapping Create closed the name dialog and did nothing at all — no project, no error. It affected the create menu on phones and tablets; the same menu on a desktop browser was fine.
v1.11.1 Aug 29, 2026
  • Creating a project no longer fails when your plan cannot be checked. If the check that reads your subscription could not complete — a brief network or server problem — the app refused to create anything at all, even on a paid plan. It now goes ahead, and your plan is checked again the next time.
v1.11.0 Aug 28, 2026

Every file you export is now kept for you, in one place. Open Exports from the sidebar to find anything you have made — long after the export window closed.

  • See a file before you download it. Images and PDFs open right in the panel, and tap to view them full screen, where you can zoom in and check the detail. Multi-page PDFs can be paged through. Gerber files show their format badge instead: a fabrication zip has no honest preview, and a picture you cannot trust is worse than none.
  • Download or share it again whenever you need it — no re-exporting to get a file you already made.
  • Export again with the same settings. A Gerber configuration is a dozen fields; you no longer have to remember them.
  • Keep the ones that matter. Older exports are cleared automatically to save space, and pinning one exempts it. Deleting is undoable.
  • On the web, exporting saves to Exports rather than pushing a download at your browser. Mobile browsers in particular tend to put downloaded files somewhere you cannot find them; now there is always a copy you can get back.
  • Cleaner routes. Staircase runs across the grid are pulled into proper 45-degree diagonals, so autorouted copper looks like something you would have drawn.
  • Fewer wrong connections. Routing now reads the real netlist when deciding what counts as same-net copper, and treats milling as a barrier.
  • Clearance is checked on the track that actually reaches the board, not an approximation of it.
  • Moving between pages is animated, in the direction you are travelling, so it is easier to keep your place.
  • Refreshed light theme with the brand colour back in its surfaces, and a clearer highlight on the selected sidebar item.
  • Settings has been rebuilt for the wide layout — sections align properly, a section you opened has a way back, and Account and About no longer float in the middle of the pane.
  • Project cards show a proper 4:3 preview instead of a letterboxed one, and dates read the same way everywhere, in your language.
  • Updates apply again. An old caching layer could keep serving you a stale version of the app; it is now cleared on load.
  • A project link that does not work explains why. Instead of a padlock, it tells you whether the address is mistyped, whether you need to sign in, or whether the board is not in your account — and always offers somewhere to go.
  • Your selection survives a sync. Elements you had selected are no longer dropped when a background sync finishes.
  • You can create a project while searching, without clearing the box first.
  • The desktop navigation drawer works again.
  • The plan comparison states the export limits — how many exports each plan keeps per board, and how many you can pin.
  • Release notes no longer open by themselves. They are still here whenever you want them: Settings → About → What's New.
v1.9.0 Aug 23, 2026
  • Copper pages now show drill holes and mounting holes. They used to print as solid shapes, so holes appeared only on the separate drilling page and looked missing. New Drill marks on copper and Mounting holes settings control both.
  • A faster, steadier export preview — quicker to update after a settings change, noticeably so on phones, and no more stale or torn content while scrolling and zooming.
  • Multi-page exports show a "Page N of M" indicator, so it's clear when more pages follow.
  • The print info footer is now on by default.
  • Fixed Google sign-in getting permanently stuck after an interrupted sign-in — every retry failed the same way.
  • Fixed resending the verification email signing you out.
  • Sign in with Apple, on iPhone and iPad.
  • Your reference photo no longer disappears when you change a board setting.
  • Long editing sessions are more stable on low-memory phones — undo history is capped at the most recent 200 steps.
  • Fixed rare sync problems: a blank board when opening a project on a second device, a newly created project briefly disappearing, and two devices editing the same board getting stuck "syncing".
  • Search now ignores punctuation and word orderSOT23-5, SOT 23 5 and esp32 super mini all find the right part.
  • More parts: CD4047, 2SK3568, Sanyo SIP12H (LA42152), URB2405S-6WR3, National NA51/NA52, CD6283 and TLP250.
  • The app now tells you when a newer version is available and downloads it in the background — tap Restart when it's ready.
v1.8.1 Aug 5, 2026
  • More parts: power-supply ICs, PWM/SMPS controllers, adjustable regulators and voltage references. Added from the request queue: TDA2003, CH340C, BTA41, BA1404, OB2263, PIC10F202, RDA5807M, and a TO-3P alias.
  • Fixed the library showing fewer parts than it should, and the Multiwatt-11 and BA1404 footprints.
  • Fixed the app closing when importing a large file, or on back after leaving the editor.
  • Fixed crashes when closing a project, in the antenna generator, and when dragging a corner.
  • Pad arrays place correctly when pads overlap.
v1.8.0 Jul 31, 2026
  • Email/password sign-in, alongside Google — with Android password-manager autofill.
  • Password reset and verification emails now work — their links didn't open the app.
  • Simpler passwords: length is the only requirement.
  • 1150+ named parts, with more accurate pad geometry and pin names throughout.
  • Request a missing part from the library picker.
  • Lost project renames, stuck imports, mixed languages in Export PDF, and a splash-screen hang after updating.
v1.7.0 Jul 15, 2026
  • Coil generator: spiral inductors (round, square, hexagonal, octagonal) with a "design for target inductance" mode, shape-aware turn snapping, an inner-terminal via escape for a fully wireable two-layer coil, and a choice of terminal style (anchor pad or bare track end).
  • PCB antenna generator: NFC and RFID loop antennas plus 125 kHz LF RFID and 315 MHz bands, meander IFA and compact helical forms, self-explanatory NFC tuning-cap lands, ground vias, and an autoscaled loop-area readout.
  • Mounting-hole generator: grid, line, and named hole patterns with fit-to-board sizing, slotted holes, and an optional ground tie + stitching via ring. Verified presets for Arduino Uno R3, Raspberry Pi Zero, Adafruit Feather, and Pi HAT (Pi 4/5).
  • Code generator: QR codes, Data Matrix, Aztec, and 1D barcodes (Code 128 / Code 39) rendered in copper, with a quiet-zone keep-out for the ground pour and chamfered diagonals to avoid acid traps.
  • Breakout / adapter generator: fan out SIP and header footprints to a breakout, with escapes that clear neighbouring pads at both ends and optional silkscreen labels.
  • Pad & via array generator and a grid / circular array-duplicate tool for repeating any selection.
  • Via stitching: board-aware ground-via fill with an edge fence.

  • Vector import overhaul: much more accurate SVG/DXF import, native circle import (SVG <circle>, DXF CIRCLE), automatic stitching of disconnected segments into closed polygons, cut-outs, track mode, mirror, and real unit-aware sizing — importable as copper, silk, or milling areas.
  • Teardrops (Maker plan): derived track-to-pad fillets everywhere, with per-end panel toggles and opt-in curved edges — removing teardrops is free for everyone.
  • Keepout zones: define keepout areas as a track property; AutoGround copper pours void correctly inside them and in exports.
  • Manual track↔pad lock: lock a track to a pad from the panel or the breakpoint menu.
  • AutoGround improvements: obstacle-aware thermal spokes, real pour connectivity, and pours that correctly void around teardrops and keepout zones.
  • Photo overlay: drop a reference photo behind the board for reverse-engineering an existing PCB.
  • Pad labels: always-on label mode showing pad numbers or net names.
  • DRC panel: non-modal — docked on desktop, modal on mobile — with stale-highlight clearing on re-run.
  • Connectivity: faster net probing (spatial index, lazy flood, caching) that now includes copper nested inside groups.
  • Set-origin crosshair and drag auto-scroll behaviour tuned for mobile.
  • PDF: per-layer pages, visibility filtering, a fit check, and persisted settings.
  • Gerber: fixed critical fabrication-output bugs (mirror default, coordinate range, spoke geometry).
  • Image export: via and visibility parity with the PDF renderer; watermark moved to a footer band below the board.
  • Entitlements: generators and teardrops show an upgrade prompt at the call-to-action (dialogs and previews stay free); mirrored PDF printing is available on the free plan.
  • Streamlined Google sign-in: the app now opens with a one-tap Google sign-in; guest mode is retired, and boards created earlier in guest mode are saved to your account automatically on first sign-in.

v1.6.0 Jun 22, 2026
  • Haptic feedback: tactile feedback throughout the editor — element placement, drag-snap ratchets, and rotation detents with fine 1° ticks — with a settings toggle to turn it off.
  • Tactile editor animations: subtle placement and interaction animations, plus an autoroute track "draw-on" animation.
  • Autoroute: pick the routing layer (Auto / Top / Bottom); re-route selectively with the new "Autoroute All" scope dropdown; through-hole pads now route on the pads' own layer; rip a routed track back to an airwire on any layer; fixed a freeze on dense pad-to-pad airwires.
  • Group editing: a dedicated property panel for grouped elements, board-side / layer control for groups, and "Flip to other side" from both the selection toolbar and the context menu.
  • Editor: tap to toggle selection in Pan & Select mode; selected elements lift above overlapping items for clearer editing; track stats are hidden while drawing airwires; undo/redo history clears when a project is (re)opened.
